Enrolment for Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary level

Some significant aspects of the enrolment process are described below, although some of them might not yet have been confirmed depending on the date on which you consult this section, as this is established by the Basque Government before the official enrolment periods begin.

Enrolment process for Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary level

Years:  From Pre-primary (age 2) to Secondary (age 16)

Open Day:

At the Open Day event, an explanation is given of the educational project, the educational proposal and structure of the centre. We highly recommend attending the Open Day as well as the guided visit of the Ikastola.

The dates of the different sessions are as follows:

Pre-primary:

Primary and Secondary:

NOTE: due to the current situation, the maximum number of visitors admitted per family will be 2 people and there will be no kindergarten service for the children.

Guided visit:

This consists of a tour of the Ikastola, focusing on the spaces used the most in accordance with the students’ age. It lasts approximately an hour and a half, and the visits take place after the explanation of the educational project.

NOTE: When you have filled in the registration form you will be automatically registered to attend the Open Day. At the top of the form you can see a note saying “You have correctly registered” and an email will be sent to you at the address you provided with a copy of your choice. It is very important to make sure you have typed in the email address correctly, and to check your spam folder if necessary.

Secretary’s Office opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Fridays until 3:00 p.m. only)

Documents required:

  • For your application to be processed, you must provide the following documents:
    • Photocopy of the page on the student in the family record book
    • Photocopy of the page on the parent in the family record book or legal guardianship document
    • Photocopy of the Spanish Identity Card or Foreign National Identity Card (TIE) of the student’s parent or legal guardian
    • Certification of the family’s home address, issued within the last three months by the Town Council (Ayuntamiento)
    • In the case of separated or divorced parents, document proving compliance with the relevant protocol (written authorisation from the former spouse, court ruling or provisional measure endorsing the request, etc.) (you may use the attached document of compliance)
    • Questionnaire on special educational needs (even if you have answered no to all the questions)
  • Benchmarking documents (consult reference regulations)
